Regent Park Golf Club was desined by James Braid in 1931 and opened its doors to the golfing public in 1932 . The golf course is run by Regent Park Golf Course Ltd who since taking over from the Bolton Metro have made considerable changes and investment. The introduction of a golf range and refurbisment of the club house a few years ago has only enhanced the Golf Clubs reputation in the area and is still as popular with the golfing public as ever. It is easy to find, located just north of Bolton, one mile from junction 6 of the M61.
