Charles Allison was the designer who lent his Midas touch to the layout of the course at Kingsthorpe Golf Club, located only two miles north of Northampton town centre. It has stood there since it first thrust open its doors to those fond of a round or two away back in 1908, and so it is due to celebrate its centenary in a few short years.
